How to Use This AI Colour Tool

1. Upload your photo
Choose a clear, straight-on image of your door (or the part you want to recolour). Good lighting helps the AI detect edges and shapes more accurately.

2. Select the part to recolour
Pick one of the predefined parts (Door, Window, etc.) or choose Other and type in a custom object (e.g. “gate”, “garage”, “shutters”).

3. Pick a colour
You may select from the suggested swatches or click Custom Colour to type in a specific colour name (for example, “navy blue”, “sage green”, “chocolate brown”).

4. AI processing & preview
The AI engine will process your image in stages: Analyzing → Recoloring → Finalizing. You’ll see a progress bar and chat-style feedback while it works.

5. Download & reset
Once the recoloured result appears, click Download to save the image. You can also Reset and try with another image or colour.

Tips & Notes:

  • You have up to 3 recolours (number depends on your settings) per session.
  • If the AI can’t detect your chosen object (e.g. door not present), you’ll see a message — try a clearer image or choose another part.
  • Custom colour names should be descriptive (e.g. “forest green”, “slate gray”) for better AI results.
  • The output image is generated in JPG format.
  • All uploaded images are handled securely and only used for processing — they aren’t stored permanently.
